Which driver's license you need depends on the country in which you live. Our vehicles are certified in the EC vehicle class L1E (Pocket Rocket, 45km/H, driver's license class: AM, A1 or B) and L3E (Pocket Rocket S, 85km/H, driver's license class: from B196). Both the Pocket Rocket and the Pocket Rocket S need a license plate. The Pocket Rocket needs a small insurance license plate (available from every bank/insurance). Pocket Rocket S requires proof of insurance for the L3E vehicle class for admission to the registration authority. With both products you save yourself the vehicle tax.

We recommend checking your vehicle every 6 months. A test and maintenance every 12 months is mandatory to comply with the guarantee conditions. Maintenance can either be done directly in Böblingen or at one of our service partners.

The delivery time for our bikes is currently 6-8 weeks from the invoice.

For shipping, we pass on the costs of the freight forwarder to you and calculate a flat rate of shipping costs of € 250. When delivering to German islands, an isolation of € 25 is charged to the shipping costs.

Due to the direct drive in the rear wheel, our vehicles have significantly fewer wear parts than many other two -wheelers. The maintenance requirement is essentially reduced to checking tires, brakes and chassis and is less time and costly.

Even in winter you can drive with the Pocket Rocket. At a temperature below 5 ° C, however, we recommend getting the battery into the warm to get the lifespan.

With our standard charger, the battery takes about 4 hours to load, while the speedader is only 2 hours.
